Sunset Honeymoon Photos at Magic Island, Waikiki with an Adorable Couple

I got to spend a lovely afternoon not long ago with adorable newlyweds doing honeymoon couple’s photography. We spent our session time exploring all of the different wonders that Magic Island Beach had to offer at sunset. It was a captivating experience for the couple and I had fun finding fun new spots to photograph in this busy and well tread location.

When they arrived at Magic Island the sun was still shining brightly in the blue sky so we sought out shade and awesome photo angles in a grove of palm trees. The bright green palm fronds were the perfect secluded frame for some cute couple shots.

Next we made our way to the far end of Magic Island Beach to a rocky spot I had recently discovered. They newlyweds could snuggle together on a rock while with the gorgeous lagoon below them and Diamond Head in the distance.

An adventurous couple, they made their way all the way out onto the rock wall where giant waves were crashing and splashing. They laughed and clung together, feeling sea spray hit their skin and hoping that nothing too big came in and left them drenched. They stayed dry and the epic photos of them kissing, surrounded, waves blasting and Waikiki in the distance will be a lovely memory of their Hawaii honeymoon couple photography adventure.

We made our way down to the beach where we were greeted by the soft, golden light of the setting sun casting a warm glow over the tranquil waters of Magic Island Lagoon. The sky was painted with hues of orange, pink, and purple, creating a breathtaking backdrop for their adventure.

When a gorgeous couple, completely smitten with each other decides to embark on a grand adventure and elope on a beautiful beach in Hawaii it means I get to have a really fun day at work! With hearts full of excitement and love, these two met us on a sandy tropical beach to exchange our vows in an intimate ceremony.

The couple stood hand in hand on the soft, warm sand, the gentle ocean breeze tousled their hair, and the sound of the waves crashed in a soothing accompaniment to the ukulele played by the musician.

The light was perfect, all cool blues and vibrant greens of the mountains in the background, the sun filtering through clouds in the sky casting a glow over the surroundings, as if nature itself was celebrating the union.

The ceremony was deeply personal, filled with heartfelt vows that they had written themselves. With tears of joy in their eyes and love in their hearts, they expressed promises to stand by each other’s side through thick and thin, to cherish and support each other, and to embrace the adventure of life together. As the officiant pronounced them husband and wife, they sealed their vows with a tender kiss.

After the ceremony, we explored along the shoreline taking amazing photos. The blue ocean and setting sun creating a breathtaking backdrop for their first moments as a married couple. They laughed at the silly antics I requested they perform, twirling and spinning along the waters edge, and they relished in the joy of being together in such a magical place.

This family, this sunset, this gorgeous family portrait! What a fun afternoon! We embarked on a memorable adventure to Sandy Beach to capture the breathtaking beauty of the sunset through my lens.

As the family arrived at the beach, their excitement soared. The girls skipped across the sand, their eyes eagerly taking in all the fun places to run and jump and play. The golden rays of the setting sun cast a warm glow over the beach, creating a magical ambiance. The sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant oranges, purples, and pinks, setting the stage for the family’s photo shoot. The girls’ eyes sparkled with anticipation as they struck poses and I circled them to get every beautiful angle.

The eldest, took charge and directed the family into whimsical poses. She playfully arranged her parents and sister in silly formations, encouraging them to make funny faces and strike dynamic poses. The youngest, delighted in copying her sister’s imaginative suggestions, adding her own twist to the poses with infectious giggles.

Their parents happily obliged, embracing their inner goofiness. They jumped in the air, arms outstretched, imitating seagulls soaring in the sky. They formed human pyramids, with the girls cheerfully perched on top, pretending to be the queens of the beach. Laughter filled the air as they hammed it up for the camera, not caring about any curious onlookers.

As the sun dipped lower, casting long shadows, the family decided to venture closer to the water’s edge. The soft waves gently lapped at their feet as they continued their playful photo session.
