This small neighborhood beach has tropical vegetation and palm trees, a small beach with calm shallow water (perfect for wading in and splashing around) a beautiful rock break wall and a lovely view of the sun setting beyond the back side of Diamond Head. This location is a very small beach that backs into ocean front homes.
Start time: 1 hour before sunset
Parking: Street parking at the end of Portlock Road.
What could be better than walking along a beautiful beach as the sun rises over the ocean, gorgeous mountains in the distance. Beach sunrise is the perfect backdrop to your Hawaii photo session, and not a bad way to start the day!
This discounted session is available on most weekdays* at 8:30am at Kahala Beach Park. Kahala Beach is amazing for blue water and palm trees, and close enough to Waikiki to Uber if needed.
